International crude oil futures market review
International oil prices fell on Tuesday as US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed ending the three-year war with Ukraine, which could push for an easing of sanctions on Russian fuel exports, but renewed geopolitical risks in the Middle East capped the decline.
ICE May Brent crude settled down $0.51, or 0.70%, at $70.56 a barrel. On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), April WTI crude settled down $0.68 / barrel, or 1.00%, at $66.90 / barrel.
